Ivana Lena Besevic is a freelance illustrator specializing in portraiture, narrative and figurative art in both digital and traditional media. She holds a Masters degree in Applied Painting from the Academy of Applied arts, Belgrade and Studio Arts & Illustration from PCA, Paris and has been working professionally for over 10 years.
Throughout her career as an illustrator, Ivana worked with various international clients in publishing, television, cinema, advertising & education, some of which are Playboy, TIME, Apple, National Geographic, Wieden+Kennedy, Buck, Barron's, HarperCollins, Canongate Publishing UK, Fast Company, Games Workshop, and others.
Her work has been recognized by American Illustration as the selected AI40 winner, Annual Book and Exhibition, 2021 as well as long-listed in the World Illustration Awards 2022

Are you available for freelance work?

Is your work available for licensing?
Yes! There are hundreds of artworks to choose from and many of them are available to be licensed. Please email me to talk in more detail about the artwork you're interested in.
Do you offer painting tutorials?
Not at the moment. The plan is to create video tutorials for both digital and traditional painting in the future. Subscribe and follow my social media pages as well as my blog here on this website for news. In the meantime, feel free to check out my youtube channel for the speed videos of my digital painting process here

Do you accept portrait commissions?
I accept portrait commissions based on a photo occasionally and only in a digital painting technique. Please email me to check my availability. Keep in mind that there is a waiting list and time wise it could take a couple of months before I'll be able to start working on your commission.
Do you sell original oil paintings?
Not at the moment but will in the near future. Please follow my social media, especially on Instagram & Facebook, for announcements and news, as well as subscribe to my newsletter (my newsletter is very rare but my subscribers always get the news a couple of days before everyone else does)

Yes! You can buy my prints here
All my prints are limited editions of 50 or 100 and are high quality large size canvas prints. Signed and numbered. For more info please visit the shop.
Can I order a print that is not currently listed in the shop?
Yes, if your favorite artwork is not listed in the shop we can add one for you, please email info@ivanabesevic.com to talk about your special order.
